After a late night at the wedding, we headed to Bern to meet my sister Claire and her partner Francois. It was an overcast day and not overly warm, but Francois, Silvan and I decided to have a swim in the river Aare at 16.5c anyway! It was like a cold health spa when we went in... brrrr... But we felt very refreshed after that - and also swam about 1km in 10min :)!
Monday was a town festival in Burgdorf - Solaette! This is a historical event and the 281th time it was on, always the last Monday in June. It was a wonderful and fun day together with Natalie, Madeleine, Kusi and lots more, thanks for making it a great day everyone!
After this some relaxing days with dinners with friends before we headed to Zermatt on the 28th for 2 days. Zermatt is a car free village and is just at the border to Italy and is known for its world famous Matterhorn! We stayed at the Hotel Matthiol, amazing hotel - fantastic room, nice and relaxing wellness, great food and service!
After Zermatt, back to Zurich to spend Silvan's last weekend with friends and family!
